Prosecco DOC and DOCG
The production of Prosecco DOC sparkling base wines has always been our company’s core business. For these wines, we oversee the entire production process, from the harvesting of Glera grapes (the main grape variety used to obtain Prosecco DOC wines) through to the finished product.
At least 85% of the grapes used to make Prosecco must be Glera. The other grape varieties that make up the remaining 15% are Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested from our own estate and from long-standing suppliers in the region. For Prosecco, Glera undergoes the traditional white wine vinification with gentle pressing of the grapes, clarification of the must by flotation and fermentation at controlled temperatures between 16 and 18 °C.
For the sparkling base wine category, we can also produce a rosé version by blending with 10% to 15% Pinot Noir, which is vinified as red wine at our winery.
Through established partnerships in the Prosecco DOCG territory, we can oversee the entire production process of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG and Asolo Prosecco DOCG. We also purchase raw wine from selected suppliers in the region.
For Prosecco types, we can supply the following according to the client’s requirements and specifications:
- Prosecco DOC base wine product for sparkling wine, including the rosé variant, which is sold on fine lees or prepared ready for pressurised tanks for sparkling and semi-sparkling versions;
- The product in its certified still Prosecco DOC version;
- The certified Prosecco DOC, Prosecco DOC rosé and DOCG Sparkling versions.
